A moving tale about brotherhood, nature and family.
Doodle is different, and his Brother knows it. With the school year looming on the horizon, Brother decides it’s time to make Doodle just like all the other kids. As they run, jump, play, and row through the woods of North Carolina, a storm approaches that will change the lives of both boys forever.
Called “an outstanding new chamber opera…a moving, intense, and dignified creation” by the New York Times, The Scarlet Ibis asks why we other those who are different from us, and what exactly it means to be “normal.”

This zany new comedy follows the exploits of the struggling New Bunion Historical Society as its members battle the city council to keep the doors open and prevent being banished to the basement of the town’s senior center. With time running out to renew their lease, the Society’s three female members must find creative ways to snare new associates and lure visitors to their sleepy New England town. When a set of George Washington’s dentures turns up in the hands of an unexpected rival, the ladies brace themselves for all-out war. Heartfelt and some-what historic, this new madcap comedy proves that our differences don’t divide us, they make us strong.
